• Proposed the digitalization of record keeping
• Gathered user requirements through On-The-Job and superior’s feedback
• Created the system alone in 9 months. PHP, MySQL and jQuery running in WAMP stacks.
• Implemented the system’s hardware and software infrastructure
• Small network to interface between different workstations
• Electronic data storage of inmate profile, cell movement or activity history, inventory etc
• Easily visualize with a map layout the cell locations of inmates and the condition of the cells.
• Information retrieval also became instant, thereby drastically reducing labor hours on handwriting and querying
• Daily database backups
• Commercial value est. >SGD200,000. No monetary transaction occurred due to this project being “volunteer work” (military conscription)
